BUZOPS × BUZZLEAD · THE HIVE · SEPTEMBER 2026
BuzzLead

Welcome to the Hive, Buzops.

Michael, we just finished a run with Forever Fierce, a company selling into independent gym owners with no repeatable pipeline. Buzops is shaped the same way. It would have been wrong not to get this in front of you. So: a jar of honey, and the plan.

Underneath the jar: every US gym and fitness studio mapped, the ~8,300 that look like your best customers, and three campaigns we'd run for Buzops in the next 30 days.

Section 01 · Why there's honey on your desk

Three things came with the jar.

01

The honey

Raw, from a US apiary. Something you'll open instead of file.

02

This page

Your market sized, the customers you already win and the accounts that look like them, and three campaigns: TAM, lookalike, intent. Built for Buzops.

03

The call

Twenty minutes with Troy and Nick. We bring the account list we'd start with. You tell us where to start.

Section 02 · The company shaped like you

Forever Fierce: referral roulette to 20 to 25 meetings a month.

Sells merch programs to CrossFit gym owners. Referrals had dried up and paid ads never paid back. We mapped 1,900 gyms across eight metros, tracked gym size, rebrand activity and Instagram velocity, reframed the pitch around resellable merch, and booked 125 meetings in four months. Same shape as Forever Fierce: a public directory of buyers, a relationship-led sales cycle, and a small team chasing meetings fast.

BuzzLead used smart data-scraping to find the biggest gyms in cities and helped us reshape our offer. Now we get 25+ qualified leads monthly, generating $75k+ in revenue, including a recent $20k client.Matt Albrizio, Founder, Forever Fierce

Section 03 · The sweet part

What could be sweeter than 6,000 to 10,000 more of your best customers?

You already have the dream ones: the gyms that grow, retain, and refer others without being asked. We take those, run them through our lookalike tool, and find another 6,000 to 10,000 that look exactly like them. Then we run hyper-personalized, highly targeted outreach to every one.

Same size, same setup, same reasons to buy as the accounts on the right. Modeled, not guessed.

Section 04 · Your market, sized

Every cell is a gym.

Every US gym and fitness studio sits in NAICS 713940, tracked by the Census Bureau and mirrored in Google Maps business listings. We build the list from that, enrich owners and GMs, and time sends to membership cycles and lease renewals.

Section 05 · Intent

You're the first supplier that comes to mind.

We'll actively monitor all 41,556 US fitness and recreational sports centers and reach out when the right signal shows up, so Buzops is the first name a gym owner thinks of when membership and payment software comes up.

  • New location openingPermit filings and GM job postings. A second location means a new software rollout.
  • Ownership changeState business license transfers. New owners audit every vendor contract.
  • Competitor software contract expiringIndustry forums and case studies list renewal dates for legacy platforms.
  • Membership price changeSocial posts and local press. Repricing often pairs with a system switch.
  • Front desk or GM hiring surgeJob boards. Staffing up signals growth that outpaces the current software.
  • Franchise disclosure document filedState FDD filings show unit growth plans that need standardized software.

Section 06 · Three strategies, deployed together

TAM, lookalike, intent. Every angle, from day one.

This isn't one list and one email. We deploy three strategies at once, each with its own angle: the whole market gets the offer, the accounts that mirror your best customers get the proof, and anyone showing a buying signal gets a note the week it happens. Then we double down on whichever one the market answers.

STRATEGY 1 · TAM

Own the whole market

TargetThe ~8,300 gyms in your sweet spot: 1 to 3 locations, 200 to 2,000 members, owner and GM enriched from Google Maps and CBP
AngleOne system for members, staff, scheduling and payments instead of three disconnected tools
~8,300 ACCOUNTS
STRATEGY 2 · LOOKALIKE

Mirror your best customers

TargetGyms that look like Peter Kraus's and Nick's: same location count, membership size and growth stage
AngleLead with the gym they already resemble and what changed after Buzops
~6,000+ ACCOUNTS
STRATEGY 3 · INTENT

Catch them in-market

TargetGyms showing a buying signal this quarter: new location opening, ownership change, competitor contract expiring, staff hiring surge
AngleA one-to-one note written from the signal, sent the week it happens
~5,000 PER YEAR ACCOUNTS

What happens after you say yes.

Section 08 · Join the Hive

The honey was the easy part.

Michael, we'll walk the three strategies above, show you the accounts we'd start with, and tell you what it would take. No deck.
